Plan for Fall events

Good Morning Retailers.

Hoping you all will have safe and successful Labor Day Holidays.

There are two important topics I want to touch on this month.

First, there are only about 90 days until the Thanksgiving weekend . And you know what that means.. BLACK FRIDAY.

But to the independent retailer, the important day on that weekend is
SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY.
That's Saturday November 28,2015

This year is the sixth year that SBS is being held.
In 2014 American Express states that over $14 billion dollars was spent in small retailers on SBS.
In 2013 over 1450 neighborhood champions signed up.

I'm sure many of you are already making your plans for SBS 2015.
If you haven't started yet , contact your Rep and start finding out what deals are being offered.

If you plan for a successful Small Business Saturday you'll have one.

I suggest you google small business Saturday and go to some of the websites on the subject.
They're full of good ideas to help you have a great SBS this year.

The second topic is
The CHA MEGA SHOW 2016.

You know I'm a big supporter of attending at least the January CHA Show. It's the place you'll find out what's happening in your industry.
