National Scrapbook Day
I'm sure everyone reading this knows that this Saturday, May 4,2013 is National Scrapbook Day.
This day gets a lot of exposure in the Scrapbook and Paper Crafting media so I'm sure all of you Scrapbook and Paper Crafting Retailers have a strong schedule of events and promotions for this weekend.
Be sure you haven't held back on your promotions.
And I don't just mean off price sales.
The stores who will be the most successful this weekend will have a lot of classes and special events scheduled that will bring customers into their store. Vendors and Reps are happy to participate in these events but you have to book them early in the year. I always suggest nailing down these vendor and Rep appearances at the January CHA Show.
So, Here's my best wishes for a successful and PROFITABLE National Scrapbook Day this year.
Another subject I want to address is the CHA Summer Show that's being held in Las Vegas this
July 23-25 with seminars and workshops on July 22.
The Las Vegas site is being met with concern by many Scrapbook and Paper Crafting retailers.
And I can understand why.
But it still is important for Scrapbook and Papercrafting retailers to stay on top of their industry and
their market.
The best way to do this is by attending the CHA Shows. This is where you'll be exposed to the latest new lines and products that will keep you on the cutting edge of the Scrapbooking and Papercrafting business.
Don't dismiss the idea of attending the CHA July 2013 Show in Las Vegas without giving it serious thought.
Sandy
